Meet the Maker with Cristina Stribacu

This week as part of Portfolio’s Meet the Maker series, I had the wonderful opportunity to host an interview with Greek evoo producer extraordinaire Cristina Stribacu, co-founder of LIÁ olive oil and the LIÁ Hub, who is revolutionizing high quality production from her family grove in Messinia.

She spoke about her journey over the last ten years, moving from a career in art history to reconnecting with her family’s farm and making the decision to shift from bulk production to crafting an award winning monovarietal Koroneiki oil and reclaiming high quality extra virgin production for Greek oil.
